The goal of this module is to help learners build a basic understanding of stock investing. We use real data and fake money to build a basic stock portfolio. No prior knowledge is needed.

Meeting day: Every Wednesday for 6 weeks
Age: 4th through 12th grade (divided into peer groups by grade). Content will be adjusted by grade level as well.
Size: small groups of 7 to 20 learners
Meet once a week, 1:1, with a mentor to brainstorm, design, and launch your own money project. Don’t know what to build? We have a library of projects to guide you. Have an idea of your own? we will work with you on your project. We welcome any projects in investing, entrepreneurship, money, or business.

Prerequisites: we suggest that you complete our module on Basics of Stock Investing, or come with basic knowledge on stock investment vocabulary before enrolling in this course.
Practical and hands-on course that helps students prepare for “Tax Return One”.
Students will engage in an hands-on project to build a mock tax model in Google Sheets to better grasp how the Federal tax system works and what drives taxable income, deductions, and credits. Building a model from scratch will enhance the student’s financial analysis skills and will give them a toolkit they can reference in the future. Taxes is a boring subject, but Junior Vestors makes it engaging and fun.
