JV Kids
Ages 9 - 12
Our JV kids program is full of fun activities and projects that can be completed together. Our goal is to spark interest in our early learners and make the subject of investments and money both engaging and entertaining. Kids at this stage develop a basic vocabulary and understanding of investing and personal finance, then progress to more advanced lessons.
Sample projects and activities include:
Picking publicly traded stocks
Investing in Angel or VC backed companies
Negotiating a deal
Saving and budgeting
The art of pitching to investors
JV Teens
Ages 13 - 17
Our JV Teens program incorporates more advanced learning opportunities without sacrificing any fun. Beginners will learn basic principles of budgeting, saving, investing, and more. More advanced learners will have hands on opportunities, such as building financial models, reading investment reports, building business plans, and more.
Sample projects and activities include:
Building a cash flow model
Analyzing a real estate deal
Reviewing the annual report of a publicly traded company
Dissecting financial news
Building a personal financial plan
JV Moms
For moms, guardians, and future moms
Our JV Moms Circle is for mothers (or guardians) who want to have a safe intimate space for women to learn together, ask questions, and share experiences with other moms. These are small groups that meet twice a month guided by a group facilitator. Whether you are hoping to be a mom in the future or are a retired grandmother, we welcome you to our circles.
